1:24
Thank you for having me and for finding this amazing business to create.

1:30
You are welcome. I love all of it. So I'm super excited. So first, I wanted to ask you, how did you make the shift in your life from an employee to an entrepreneur, because I know a lot of our listeners may still be employees and trying to start a business on the side. or trying to get a coaching business going, right?

1:50
I don't think I've ever been an employee.

1:53
You've never been an employee.

1:56
I mean, your therapist,

1:57
your therapist, but you weren't didn't consider yourself an employee.

2:01
I've never been an employee. In my mind. I always show up as an owner, like even in restaurants, people thought I owned it, even if I saw that I was just a server out there like, Oh, do you own this place? I'd be like, no. But I just always show up. And I think it's actually a, like a space holding thing. Okay, I come into a business, and I just see the parts and I feel what it feels like to be customer and I think about what can make it better. And I think about what might the customer's experience be like, like, what's going on for the people who are working here? And I don't think most employees do that. So that would be my invitation, if you're wanting to make the shift is start looking at the bigger picture of like, the real interaction happening here at all of the different levels. The business. Interesting.

2:47
Yeah. So you right from the get go felt like you own the business anyways. So it wasn't a shift really, for you to own your own business. He already owned all those. That's a great story. So and now, how do you help people in the world right now? Like, what do you What's your secret sauce? What do you do for people?

3:12
I'm gonna branch out and say it for the first time. I help people use businesses as a healing modality for themselves for their clients and for their clients customers.

3:22
Wow, that's, that sounds really powerful. Like you help people heal through their business.

3:30
Yes.

3:31
I like that. Yes, it just feels good. I had to just soak in it. So I'm just wondering, because I focus on helping people to kind of bloom into who they're designed to be. It's like helping them be in alignment, right, some of the things we have talked about in the past, what would you have to offer as a tip, or one or two tips? What have you done to allow yourself to fully be in your life in business? What would you encourage others to do?

4:03
I think that if we're out of alignment at all, if we're not doing it our way, then we're fighting with something. And I would just ask you to consider, do I want to use my energy in the fight against myself? Or do I want to use my energy proactively for myself and for the outcome that I'm here to create, like, I think we're all here for a reason. We're all here to help people do something in some way, whether that's through food service, being a teacher, like anybody, if I allow myself to be who I am, I have all this extra energy to do the thing I'm here to do. And I think that's what helps the most people and isn't most satisfying.

4:41
Right? Because when we feel either unfulfilled or frustrated, I'm just thinking of some of the not self parts. You know, if when we talk about human design, there's these not self parts, and it's like if you're frustrated or dissatisfied or bitter or resentful. Those are probably some signs, right? But you're just you're not using your energy in the best way. So Exactly. Many of us just kind of, yeah, you know, we brush over those. We keep going, we keep chugging along, right? It's a go getter nation like we can do it, regardless of how we feel. So yes, I totally, totally feel you on that. So thank you so much for showing up today, Caryn and I will speak with you soon.

5:27
